Intel Kaby Lake 7000 series CPUs Benchmarked

Everyone Gamers waiting for the next gen Kaby Lake series CPUs might be a little disappointed today as reviews and benchmarks surface from major news outlets.

Techpowerup has done a very thorough test of the flagship 7700K against the current gen Skylake 6700K with a large number of popular games and the results are fairly unanimous.  The good news is, if you have a Skylake CPU (or even a Ivy Bridge / Haswell CPU) there’s no reason to upgrade. The bad news, if you’ve been dying to upgrade  your PC and just holding out for the next big generational performance boost, this isn’t it.

Grand Theft Auto V PC Release Delayed until March, Gets Official System Requirements

Rockstargames.com’s NewsWire blog today disappointed PC gamers world wide when they announced Grand Theft Auto V for PC has been delayed from January 27th to March 24th. Along with the bad news they also published the official system requirements and posted a series of screenshots from the PC edition of the game.

GTA 5’s PC Port Being Handled By Max Payne 3 Team @ Rockstar

In an interview with Alt-Tab, Rockstar games has told us that the team that handled the Max Payne 3 port to PC is the same team tasked with bringing GTA V to PC in January. Max Payne 3’s PC edition was arguably the best version of the game and great PC port with no performance issues or major bugs and top notch optimized menu’s, controls and textures to make full use of the strengths of the PC platform.
