Pre-ordered or planning to buy the physical copy of GTA V on PC to avoid the 60GB download? Well it&#8217;s a great idea in theory but in practice, you still need to download about 5GB in a day 1 patch as soon as you have finished the almost 2 hour\u00a0ordeal of installing the game from the 7 DVD&#8217;s it came on.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evatech.com.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/5GB-D1-Patch.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1946\" src=\"https:\/\/evatech.com.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/5GB-D1-Patch.jpg\" alt=\"GTA V PC Day 1 Patch\" width=\"715\" height=\"521\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evatech.com.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/5GB-D1-Patch.jpg 715w, https:\/\/evatech.com.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/5GB-D1-Patch-300x219.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 715px) 100vw, 715px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Being some\u00a0of the lucky few with reasonable download speeds in Australia, it only took us 35 minutes to download, but spare a though for the tens of thousands of Aussie gamers on sub par ADSL connectors.<\/p>\n<p>On a 1 megabit connection your looking at 12 hours of patch downloading!
