GTA 5’s PC Port Being Handled By Max Payne 3 Team @ Rockstar

In an interview with Alt-Tab, Rockstar games has told us that the team that handled the Max Payne 3 port to PC is the same team tasked with bringing GTA V to PC in January. Max Payne 3’s PC edition was arguably the best version of the game and great PC port with no performance issues or major bugs and top notch optimized menu’s, controls and textures to make full use of the strengths of the PC platform.

In the same interview a Rockstar spokes person told Alt-Tab that the game is already running at 60FPS on PC but they didn’t mention what hardware they were running on their testing machines.

For anyone who remembers the system resource hog that was GTA 4’s early PC release before a ton of patches, this is a huge sigh of relief. If Rockstar is true to their word, GTA V on PC’s launch be smooth and patient PC gamers that have waited 16 months since the original PS3 and Xbox 360 release won’t be disappointed.
