Expression of Interest : PC Assembly Technician Team Member

We're looking for a skilled and passionate PC Builder/Technician to come aboard with the Evatech Computers team. In this role, you'll be joining the hands-on force behind our pre-built & custom-built PCs, responsible for meticulously assembling, testing, and troubleshooting high-performance desktop systems for gamers, professionals, and businesses all over Australia.

• Employment types: Full-time (Mon-Fri 10am-6pm), Part-time, or Casual
• The role will include a mix of system assembly & troubleshooting primarily, and a side of customer/supplier communications from time to time
• Drivers licence and reliable transport required (Keysborough location)
• Experience preferred but not essential. A positive attitude will fit in well with our existing team!

Role Responsibilities

This position is ideal for someone who loves the process of bringing a computer to life: from unboxing components to applying the final touches of cable management. While your primary focus will be on PC building, there's more to the job to ensure each day is as smooth as the last, so you'll also assist with diagnosing and repairing customer systems, providing technical support, and helping to maintain our workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Assembly: Precisely assemble and cable manage custom PC builds according to detailed specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing and benchmarking to ensure every system meets our high standards for performance and stability.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on both new builds and customer machines.
• Technical Support: Provide knowledgeable and friendly technical assistance to customers when needed.
• Workshop Maintenance: Help keep our building and repair areas organized and efficient.

What you'll bring

Required Skills & Experience:

• Genuine passion for PC hardware and staying up-to-date with new releases
• Ability to work with a team, self-motivated, and take pride in your work
• Clear, friendly, fluent & proficient English communication both written and verbal
• Over the age of 18, with a current drivers licence and reliable transport

Highly regarded but not essential:

• Prior experience in PC assembly or IT / Tech retail
