This is never what we intend for our customers to experience, so we're sorry to learn you have this issue.
If the parcel is only just past the ETA, it should usually show up within 1-2 days without the need for any further action/contact.
If your parcel has dispatched with TNT/FedEx, and was only collected from the Evatech premises today - we're not sure how or why, but - sometimes the tracking will incorrectly show the ETA as the same day as it was collected. As far as we're aware, as good a courier TNT/FedEx is, to this date they do not offer a same day service, even if it's only a short distance from our premises, as all parcels go through a depot before being onboarded for delivery. That means a minimum of one business day for transit.
If you believe your parcel is still beyond the actual ETA, taking into account recent sales events, wide-spread or localised issues, etc. then usually the best place to start is by contacting the courier in question for information straight from the horse's mouth.
Australia Post - Phone: 13 POST ( 137678 ), 8am-6pm (local time) or online
Aramex Australia - Phone number and hours vary by depot in question or online
Couriers Please - Phone: 1300 361 000, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (local time) or online
TNT / FedEx - Phone: 13 11 50, Mon-Fri 8am-6pm (local time) or online
You can of course keep us updated if you wish, but a lot of the time we won't be able to impact the delivery after the item has left our possession.
Sadly no. Even when offering Express transit options, we do not make any guarantees, and we are also selecting and paying for the express option accordingly. Refusing a delivery will still incur the shipping charge.
This can sometimes happen when deliveries are made to businesses or apartment buildings. Please first check with likely places it may have been delivered such as warehouse, reception, mail room, etc. as they may have received the shipment on your behalf.
We're not entirely sure why, perhaps OH&S/logistical reasons, but sometimes items destined for the same location can be split up and delivered on different runs - if the tracking states this, you can contact the courier for more details, otherwise it should likely show up the following business day.
Often, we see this status applied to parcels that haven't yet been collected from our premises, even before the usual collection window - or sometimes just after it arrives to our usual receiving depot. In almost all scenarios, this status is unwarranted and there's no cause for concern - but if you would like more information the best thing to do is contact TNT/FedEx.
Feel free to get in touch with us if you've exhausted all other options - we might be able to help set things right!
