From time to time, you may require the assistance of a professional to get your PC running smoothly.

Below are the services we offer and our rates, and below you can find more details about what is and is not covered, so that you're fully informed before you commit to anything. If you do have any questions or requests for deviations to what has been laid out, be sure to raise them prior to engaging in our services!

Note that if your PC was purchased from Evatech, you may be entitled to no-cost services if the issue is within & covered by warranty, and/or if you have a Bleeding Edge Upgrade service selected for your PC that's current.

Desktop Services

Fault diagnosis: $90
Dust clean: $80
BIOS update: $35
Windows installation: $90
Storage drive installation: $30 per item type (M.2, SATA: different types)
Basic hardware installation: $50 per item
- RAM, CPU, PCIe card, OEM CPU cooler
Advanced hardware installation: $100 per item
- Motherboard, aftermarket CPU cooler, PSU, LED/RGB components
System teardown: $60
System re-wiring: $70 + teardown price (if required)
Basic system build: $90
- Limited to the following: OEM cooler, single PCIe card, maximum 3 storage drives
Complex system build: $150
- Any of the following: aftermarket cooler, more than one PCIe card, over 3 storage drives, LED/RGB components [other than pre-installed on chassis]

All the above are for the first 2 hours of labour, hourly labour rate thereafter (Only if required. We will contact you before proceeding to get your approval):

Hourly rate: $120 per hour, charged in 30-minute intervals as a minimum.

What to expect from us

Service & Description	What's Included	What's Not Included
All services - this info is applicable to all services.	Create a baseline for the system before we start any agreed upon works. Manufacturer's warranty applies to hardware that we sell to you. Removed hardware (if any) provided back to you.	Aside from hardware that we sell you, our work/results do not come with warranty. We're not responsible for incompatible components being provided to us, or selected by you, and will still have to charge for our time. Our services will not aim to fix issues that aren't within the scope of selected services.
Fault diagnosis - Attempting to find out why the reported fault is occurring (hardware problems only).	Recommendation on what should be done to mitigate the issue reported.	No guarantee of fixing said issue within this service (unless it's trivial & has no cost associated). In the instance of a fault not being reproducible, we'll still have to charge for our time & services: opting for this service is non-refundable and not able to be waived.
BIOS update - Performing a BIOS update on a provided system/motherboard	With the assistance of our UPS, perform a BIOS update to the latest (or otherwise specified by customer) version as provided by the manufacturer's website.	Can only be performed if provided with a compatible CPU (or if we might have one around, feel free to contact and ask). No other BIOS changes or overclocking offered. No backing up of encryption keys. No checking if system boots before/afterwards other than into BIOS. Service provided "as is".
Dust clean - Some disassembly may be done to assist in cleaning out dust/debris: there will be no extra charge for this.	Clean out of most dust/debris from the PC + dust filters & fans where applicable.	Does not include replacing of components (such as case fans). Standard case fans are priced at $15 (includes installation), with premium/RGB fans dependant on brand/model desired.
Windows installation - Installation of preferred Windows OS onto storage drive of your choice.	Installing of Windows (with license key [not included in price]) + drivers: ready for action. Default Windows settings used, user account "Admin" created without password.	RAID setups not included. Windows OS must be supported by hardware provided, & have drivers. Existing PC issues may not be solved by a fresh install of Windows.
Storage drive installation - Installing component as requested.	Cable management for & around the component(s) we're installing as necessary. SATA data cables & screws provided (if we have suitable items) at no cost if required. Ensuring component & PC still functions at least as well as previously. With access to the Windows OS, we can also partition and assign a drive letter for you.	Efforts will be made to not disturb other items not related to the work carried out, meaning we wouldn't aim to cable manage other components if we're just installing a HDD, etc. RAID setups not included.
Basic hardware installation - Installing component as requested.	Cable management for & around the component(s) we're installing as necessary. Screws provided (if we have suitable items) at no cost if required. Ensuring component & PC still functions at least as well as previously.	Efforts will be made to not disturb other items not related to the work carried out, meaning we wouldn't aim to cable manage other components if we're just installing a new GPU, etc. Liquid cooled components not included in this tier.
Advanced hardware installation - Installing component as requested.	Cable management for & around the component(s) we're installing as necessary. All necessary cables/accessories must be provided to us. Ensuring component & PC still functions at least as well as previously.	Efforts will be made to not disturb other items not related to the work carried out, meaning we wouldn't aim to cable manage other components if we're just installing a CPU cooler, etc. Custom water-cooling loops not offered in any way.
System teardown - Removing all, or as requested, parts from an existing PC build.	Anti-static bags provided for removed hardware, screws & other mounting hardware also retained.	Boxes/packaging to suit the removed hardware.
System re-wiring - Re-working existing cabling to make it neat.	All cables re-done as required. Airflow will be optimised without cables unnecessarily in the case's cavity area.	Not offered unless PC is already in a good working condition to start with.
Basic system build - Assembly of components provided to us.	Building, cable management, and basic configuration of BIOS as necessary. Burn-in testing of any components we sell you.	No testing will be carried out on components that weren't provided by us. Windows installation not included.
Complex system build - Assembly of components provided to us.	Building, cable management, and basic configuration of BIOS as necessary, and checking devices are detected in BIOS where possible. Burn-in testing of any components we sell you.	No testing will be carried out on components that weren't provided by us. Windows installation not included. Custom water-cooling loops not offered in any way.
