Fractal Design is a well-known brand in the PC community that designs & manufactures computer cases for gaming & general use. They offer a range of case sizes & designs, & are known for their clean & minimalist design, high build quality & attention to detail. Fractal Design cases often focus on functionality & simplicity, rather than leaning into the flashy features or eye-catching aesthetics. They also tend to have a focus on cable management, with many cases featuring ample space & routing options for keeping cables out of sight. Not ignoring cooling & airflow, with many cases featuring support for water cooling & ample ventilation. They are also an option for those who prefer a case that doesn't have a lot of flashy RGB lighting & rather a more subtle look. Overall, Fractal Design cases are highly rated by reviewers & users alike, & are considered to be some of the best cases on the market. They are a great option for those looking for a clean, minimalist design with great functionality & cable management.

Processor/CPU: AMD Ryzen AM5

Now firmly back in the CPU race, AMD turns up the core & thread count; not forgetting the clock speeds either! Turning their attention exclusively to DDR5 RAM, Ryzen continues to bridge the gap between consumer & professional workstations with their pro-sumer grade CPUs.

CPU Cooling Solution: All-In-One (AIO) Liquid Cooler

120mm, 240mm, or 360mm: liquid cooling often provides the best cooling for your CPU to perform at its peak. If you consider that a 360mm is best used with an i9/U9/R9 CPU, then working backwards from there (so an i7/U7/R7 gets a 240mm, & i5/U5/R5 gets a 120mm) would roughly line up with our recommendation. Of course, going above what we recommend is also fine! In case you were worried, all our liquid coolers are pre-filled from the manufacturer, & aren't intended to be maintained or topped-up by us or end-users: set & forget so you can enjoy using the PC.
An adequate CPU cooler ensures that your CPU can perform at or near its limit rather than leaving performance (that you've paid for) on the table.

Memory/RAM

Unless you're only using your PC for the most simple/basic of tasks, 16GB is our minimum recommendation for RAM, otherwise 8GB can scrape through for those on a tight budget. With 32GB+ of RAM widely accepted as being more than enough for typical gaming purposes, higher capacities can prove useful for those who run other apps/tasks while gaming, or for those who need their system to run content creation applications.
A general guide for editing videos the following is recommended: 1080p footage needs 64GB RAM, 4K needs 96GB, & 6K/8K/12K needs 128GB/192GB/256GB respectively.
While OC (high-frequency) RAM often unlocks more performance compared to the standard speed RAM, running RAM beyond what the CPU supports may create instability & reduce system reliability. This isn't to say it will always be the case, but it's worth keeping in mind that you might need to turn the RAM speed down if you begin experiencing difficulties.
